How much more will we take until there is a change?
How much more can we take?
How many more lives will be taken and stolen?
Because, this is not only happening in Seattle. It’s happening across the country, across the world.
It’s occurring more times than I can keep track of now.
I don’t know what else to say, but a friend posted this on Facebook and wanted to share:
“In the coming hours and days, I pray that our discussions about violence in America are thoughtful and respectful. Moreover, I don’t want to hear about the gunman, his motives, or his past. Instead, tell me about the young man who risked his life to stop it. Tell HIS story, make HIM the example, because he is where our hope as a country lives. Prayers and thoughts to the victims and families.”
Let’s take care of one another. Let’s make a change. Let’s not just tolerate and endure. Let’s find hope in the heroes. And let’s continue to pray for Seattle Pacific University and the community.
